Summer's almost over! New school year begins soon...

Summer is winding down, and I hope everyone has had a chance to participate in the summer reading program or has been able to do other Orthodox spiritual reading!

For those racing to finish their three summer reading books, we are extending the deadline to turn in your homework for the three books. The new deadline is SEPTEMBER 13. That gives everyone two more weeks to read. I hope this is helpful.

You can submit your homework to me via email or by putting it in the homework folder on the School of the 70 bulletin board at St Luke's. (Right now the board is a bit naked, but I'll be refreshing it for the new school year soon.)

Some of the summer reading program books are available for purchase through St Luke's online store. So you can still read something for credit if you want to. Check them out. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see 4 of the 5 summer reading books.

Finally, the official start date of the School of the Seventy 2009-2010 school year is September 14, 2009. More information on enrollment and other activities will be sent out in the next few weeks.

Please email me if you have any questions about completing summer reading or about enrolling for the new school year. I look forward to working with everyone!

God bless you in every way!
