Prayer of the Week and Bible Study - Jude 1: 6-7

Here is this week's prayer and Bible Study! To earn one credit, send your answer to the question to Father Andrew at oandrey (at) aol (d0t) com and to me at else10 (at) gmail (d0t) com.

Prayer:
Let us pray to the Lord. Lord have Mercy.
O Lord You promised to send Your Holy Spirit to guide us to all truth. Your Holy Apostle Jude exhorted us to keep the faith that was delivered to us by the apostles. On this day as we celebrate the memory of St. Luke the Apostle, strengthen our faith so we can avoid immoral acts. Purify our lives so we do not grieve the Holy Spirit in whom we pray. Through the prayers of St. Luke, O Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us. Amen.

Bible Text: Jude. 1:6-7
He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Bible Question:
How is this verse relevant to practices in Christian Churches today? (Read the entire epistle of St. Jude.)
