Last Efforts for Lent

Our Lord's entry into Jerusalem
With Holy Week approaching, let us pull ourselves up and make a last push of spiritual efforts during what remains of Lent. Here are some activities to help you!

We ask the question, “What do we do when we’ve sinned?” On Come Receive the Light, Fr. Brendan Pelphrey looks at scriptural examples of dealing with sin, and the importance of seeking the Holy Spirit with tears. But first, some practical advice for parents of young children on how to survive Holy Week from OCN blogger Sylvia Leontaritis. Listen now.

On Theologically Thinking, Fr. William Chiganos discusses St. Mary: The extreme example of repentance. Listen now.

On Harmony of Thunder, Fr. David Smith talks about St. Mary of Egypt. Turn in to learn the rest of the story. Listen now.

A sermon on the sixth week of Lent: read it now.

Great Lent Resource Page: find it here.

Podcasts are worth one credit each with a filled out Podcast homework sheet (under the lessons and homework tab). For other readings, and items off the Resource Page listed above, please contact me for credits and homework.

Students, we are in the last weeks of this School Year, which ends June 1. Please send all your homework in so I can start tallying credits. Submit your work to else10(at)gmail(d0t)com.

God bless you all as we finish Lent and enter Holy Week!
