New Podcast with Metropolitan Kallistos

Metropolitan Kallistos Ware

Dear Students and Friends,

I've just listened to Metropolitan Kallistos of the U.K. speak on "What does it mean to be a Christian" on the OCN. What an apt subject for the Lenten season! Starting out simply, he explains the basics of the faith and then goes on to comment on some contemporary issues such as homosexuality, abortion, life ethics, and more. His gentle voice and wise answers are truly worth listening to. You will be blessed.

Listen to Metropolitan Kallistos now.

Also, there is a new book out that I can't wait to get! It is called "The Prayer Book of the Early Christians" and it is by Fr John McGuckin, who also starred in the "Mysteries of the Jesus Prayer" program. Fr John has collected some of the great prayers of the early church and put them together so they can be prayed alone or in groups. I invite you to check out this new book, now available on Amazon.
